President's Message
Welcome Friends,
Since our inception just a relatively short seventeen years ago, the Mircom Group of Companies, has experienced dramatic growth in the fire, life safety and communications industry. To achieve this growth Mircom has capitalized on select opportunities including new product launches, several discrete acquisitions, and exciting forays into new geographic markets.
As part of our ongoing effort to expand our offering and presence across North America, Mircom has opened several Canadian Branches, most recently in Victoria, British Columbia, London, Ontario and Quebec City, Quebec and we continue to scope new branch opportunities in significant Canadian markets.
Additionally, Mircom has expanded its U.S. operations with a dedicated warehousing and logistics facility in Niagara Falls, New York. This new facility will significantly enhance our ability to serve customers throughout the United States. In addition to our logistics facility, we recently opened two new sales offices in Orange County, and San Francisco, California. These offices are meant to supplement our core engineered systems distribution business throughout the USA.
Internationally, the Mircom Group has continued to expand its presence through new distribution partnerships in Asia, the Middle East and South America. Today Mircom is represented by distribution partners in over 40 countries and counting. Mircom’s first direct office outside of North America in Bangalore India has produced noteworthy results and we look forward to increasing our profile in major global markets.
On a personal note, I am proud to announce that Mircom continues to be nominated for prestigious achievement awards including our recent finalist status to the Top 50 Best Managed Companies in Canada, the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce Exporter of the Year nomination and my personal nomination as Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Ontario.
Undoubtedly, Mircom’s successes are a direct result of our highly skilled and dedicated staff. Our team of engineers, production, sales and customer support staff work hard on a daily basis to ensure that we deliver the services and products to customers that meet and exceed expectations.
Going forward, my personal commitment is that the Mircom Group of Companies will continue to strengthen its position as the premier organization for fire, life safety and communications systems in North America and beyond.
